Hello everyone! I need some help finding a recipe for a fantastic cut out sugar cookie and icing!

The reason:
My manager asked me if I would make mickey mouse shaped cookies for her wedding to put into bags and give out as favors. I told her I would try some out this weekend on my off days and take them into work to show her. I made her a mickey/minnie mouse bridal shower cake which is why she asked me to make the cookies. I want to have a good recipe as well as icing that works well as I will be frosting the mickey heads black and putting a bow on some and bowties on others and I just want them to taste good! Hopefully some of you fantastic bakers can help me out! Thanks in advance! :)

I posted this in food_porn back in April, before I knew about this community. I was just thinking about these today and decided they're one of my favorite baking achievements ever. I thought you all might want to see!

What's inside the box? )

I abbreviated this post a bit since I'm not sure how many of you already saw it at food_porn, but there are lots more pictures at my baking blog, Willow Bird Baking.
